Bagole Friedman Injury Lawyers office is involved with Fire Fighters, Police & Paramedic Hearing Loss Claims and hearing loss litigation on behalf of active and retired fire fighters, police officers and paramedics. These are workers’ compensation claims for hearing loss as a result of noise exposure including sirens, equipment & tools, engines, firearms and explosions.
The first step in determining if there is a claim is to set up an appointment to speak with one of our attorneys at Bagolie Friedman Injury Lawyers. If appropriate, a screening audiogram (hearing loss test) to determine if you may be a victim of noise-induced hearing loss will be scheduled.
In that regard, we have retained Audiologist Jeffrey Kot, located at 453 Clifton Avenue in Clifton (973-772-5457) to provide a no risk hearing loss test to each public safety worker. The test may be conducted at his office in Clifton. We may be able to assign an Audiologist who may be able to travel to your site to examine and test fire fighters, police and paramedics if there are 20 or more available at one time. Alternatively, you may provide a recent hearing test from your own doctor. Our office will then determine if there is a viable claim. As always there is no fee if there is no recovery.
